Carolyn grew up in Whangarei, has spent her working life here and has grown her family here. She and her husband, Greg, have 4 children between them and 3 grandchildren.
Working for over a decade in one of Whangarei’s largest accountancy firms gave Carolyn a solid grounding in a comprehensive range of skills and experience. Carolyn also saw the need to develop a different approach when dealing with small to medium businesses, and so she and a friend created their own accountancy business.
“Our business’s main point of difference’’, says Carolyn, ‘’is that we are small and personal, offering clients the hands on approach at an affordable price. We aim to be their confidants and partners on their business journey. This includes being flexible with appointment times; as clients are often unable to come during normal working hours, being empathetic and keeping the relationship real and down-to-earth’’
Carolyn’s clients benefit greatly from her expertise as she is able to personally advise and coach them on their business financial goals and needs, enabling them to achieve their goals.
Carolyn is passionate about helping her clients grow their businesses and being their first port of call is one of the most rewarding aspects of her job.
